Hard disk drives are the most commonly and popularly used storage medium in a laptop or a desktop computer to store data. The storage capacity of a hard disc drive may vary from several gigabytes (GB’s) to several terabytes (TB’s). There are different types of hard drives available like SATA / SCSI / ATA / PATA / IDE etc, whose main purpose is to store data. However, data storage and retrieval in all these different hard drives is done in different methods.
Sometimes, data present in these hard disc drives may be deleted or lost due to various reasons. Some of the most commonly known scenarios for data loss from hard drives are accidental deletion of partitions or drive resulting in deletion of data, accidentally formatting the drive or a partition, partition corruption, conversion of file system, etc. All the above reasons will lead to loss or deletion of data from the hard drive. Once the data is deleted or the partition is formatted, do not think that the data is lost forever. It is possible to recovery deleted or lost data from formatted or corrupt partitions using Remo Recover (Windows) – Pro edition.
